In 1988, Peter Grice established PG Packaging Ltd, a company that has since become a tri- functional operation serving a wide range of market sectors with top quality products. He acts both as agent between customer and manufacturer and/or supplies direct from his own stock of various types of packaging material. In the main the business supplies the Farming and Food Industries. The company has just celebrated its 16th Anniversary.
Early 2003 with the help of A1 Quality Consultants we achieved accreditation for the ISO 9001:2000 and the BRC/IOP Technical Standards for the procurement, stock holding, supply of polythene, plastic, cardboard, corrugated and rigid board packaging materials. We believe we are one, if not the first of any distributors in the country to be awarded with this.
Peter started the company in 1988 from a warehouse located at Primrose Farm in Norfolk and he later expanded and bought Kingsland Farm in 1996. Due to the success of the business it became necessary to increase the size of the warehousing at Kingsland Farm and also to acquire additional warehousing in Arbroath, Scotland in 1999. A total of over 14,000 square ft is now managed by our Scottish team.
Kingsland Farm now boasts of 5 modern warehouses holding at times over 1400 pallets and 52,000 square ft.
From small farm shops to major industrial companies, PG Packaging Ltd has the knowledge and the facilities to cater for all businesses. We supply a vast array of customers across the UK, Ireland and Europe. With such vast experience in the trade it comes as no surprise that PG Packaging Ltd are able to source, supply and deliver stock within 24 or 48 hours if necessary. The company has already taken on considerable expansion, and has founded Kingsland Fruit, an on-site strawberry growing and packing facility containing three acres of tunnels.
PG Packaging Ltd is a one-stop shop for all your packaging needs. Furthermore, highly competitive prices ensure that clients are extremely satisfied and their custom returned time and time again.
